Our Story

WHO WE ARE

Tusica started as pioneers in manufacturing and we have consolidated this area so we have a very experienced staff with vast knowledge of the chemical industry. We have about 4000 m2 physically divided for manufacturing each product. We have a separate area to increase the production of products to serve the North American market, thanks to the free trade agreements signed with Colombia.

WHERE WE ARE

Our facilities are strategically located in the metropolitan industrial area with full access for loading and unloading bulk trucks and tankers at any time of day or night without restriction by the authorities. The location of our factory allows us to have quick and easy access equidistant to all points of the city as to the main exits to neighbouring cities, the countryside, the free trade zone and export ports in Barranquilla and the other Colombian Caribbean ports. We have a natural safety ring, due to the vicinity of the Navy both alongside and behind our plant.

WHAT WE HAVE

Some of the features this certification have are: environmentally friendly production and processing processes respecting also human health, development of the concept of green chemicals, responsible use of natural resources, respect of biodiversity, absence of petrochemical ingredient (except for authorized preservatives): parabens, phenoxyethanol, perfumes and synthetic colorants, absence of GMO andrecyclable packaging.

The Jaboneria Tusica Ltda. production plant has the Cosmetic Production Capacity Certification CCC, and the Cleaning Production Capacity CCP issued by INVIMA (Surveillance Institute of Medicines and Food).

PURIFICATION

Every liquid soap we produce uses 100% purified water within our cosmetic manufacturing facility. Our modern reverse osmosis plant provides even more quality to our products for caring your skin body. The more you control what you put on your body, the healthier you will be.

ORGANIC SOAPS

We produce soaps made with only organic materials certified by Ecocert. We make sure all our soap ingredients are organic not only helps the environment, but helps your skin and body as well. If you want to truly use an environmentally-friendly soap, then organic is the way to go.

PALM OIL SOAPS

Our soaps are made from 100% vegetable origin with RSPO certificate, which  ensures the credibility of palm oil sustainability. There is in an ever-urgent need and growing global concern that commodities are produced without causing harm to the environment or society. RSPO certification is an assurance to the customer that the standard of production is sustainable.
